Florence Guided Tours

The gentleman in the blue coat was right where he said he would be to hand us our tickets and introduce us to our guide at the Accademia Gallery. Our directions were to show up 15 minutes early and we did. He was there and wonderful. When it came time to show up at the Duomo 15 minutes before our tour began, there was no blue coat in sight. We were there on time and standing in the right spot. We waited and then finally left. My phone rang a little while later and it was the support team person asking if we'd forgotten about our tour. I told her we had looked for a blue coat and waited an appropriate time. She said the guide would wait. We raced back to THE EXACT place we had been standing. She handed me the tickets and told me she had seen us from inside the small museum where she had been. I asked if she had her blue coat on at the time and she said yes. She was inside...whatever happened happened, but it would have been nice for her to have been standing out in front where your directions told us to stand. We had a lovely tour and were the only two people in the group. Both of our guides were EXCEPTIONAL and we really enjoyed each tour. Had the support team member been where we were directed to stand and had been wearing her blue coat, I would have given this experience a perfect score.

The guided tours were well-paced and enjoyable, but you shouldn't hesitate to speak English more slowly as we were French. On the other hand, pictures, maps or chronological friezes could make these tours easier to follow.

Considerate, intellectually, satisfying, illuminating, excellent teacher guide we felt enlightened and well taken care of

Myself and my friend had a great tour of Academia. It was concentrated on the history of Michelangelo given it was only an hour duration but we enjoyed that and understanding this amazing artist in more detail and centring around the build of David. I recall it was Vera who was our guide in English. She was very good and could be clearly understood. Still left us the opportunity to explore the valley further after the tour.

I love to learn history of a place as rich with culture as Firenze, and the knowledge of art we viewed was phenomenal

50 minutes waiting in 'skip the line ' line The audio was not very clear , the material not the guide .

The tour guide was excellent, she gave us a lot of interesting information and it was a very beautiful experience. The only bad of this tour was the meeting point that it was at the tour agency which was far away from the uffizzi and it was a veeu hot day !

I loved the Uffizi Gallery however it was hard to focus due to people speaking loudly and ignoring the request to be quiet.

Positive experience regarding the visit and the very good guide who talked and described the Uffizi to us scrupulously. Less positive about the bus tour, they go by once every hour, and it is not for 24h as described in the flyer, we from the morning at 10 am, then we were told that at 7 pm the service ended.

There were far too many people in the gallery. Not the tour's issue but not enjoyable. A lot of time was spent finding the guide in the crowd rather than looking and enjoying the art.

The museum was lovely.! Anna was amazing! She was very friendly and took every opportunity to share her depth of knowledge with us. We learned so much about the David sculpture by Michelangelo and other items in the Galleria. We highly recommend the tour! Plus, if you get Anna a your guide, you won't be disappointed.

The people at the office were very friendly and took us to meet the group and the guide was very nice and very clear to explain.

We didn't realize we were going to tour with two separate companies/groups. We were late getting to our second tour, still received our tickets (finally) and were just told to "go". No further direction than that. Totally turned off by the attitude and lack of assistance.

A visit to the Uffizi Gallery was a unique experience. Definitely reductive to experience it in just one day. In any case, with the right guide everything can be appreciated in the best way. Specifically, our guide Roberta, with her immense culture, experience and professionalism, turned out to be invaluable, making us experience an unforgettable day.

I love the knowledge of our tour guide and her passion for doing the tour! However, I did think the price was too high. Nevertheless, we had a very good time. She was very professional.!!

Great tour - Alex our guide for the Gallery was amazing - she told us so much - about both the items in the gallery and the history of Florence/the various families etc. Highly recommend her tours!

It was a bit of a mix up. Someone came late and they did not have a ticket for her so we had to stand in a line and wait 10 minutes for the tour arranges to bring another ticket. Then we did a toilet stop and waited 10 minutes for people to go there. It was frustrating as surely you go to the loo before hand and if your late you miss the tour. This left us stuck in crowds as the guides all talk about the same specific painting so everyone huddles in there areas although the rest of the gallery is quite acceptable. So floor 2 is crowded floor 1 is easy to walk around. The guide had lots of knowledge but I wanted to speak about the paintings but it was about the medchi family and where they lived etc and who was related to who. This was too much and detracted from us even standing in front of a painting. It was expensive so I would have expected a smaller group with less hearding. The overall was good but could have been better.

Everything well organized. A little slow explaining the initial part of the Uffizi but then fascinating the area where the Botticelli and Michelangelo are displayed. In the tour you do not visit the Caravaggio part but you can go on your own without a guide

It was very good as a fast visit we saw everything we needed the guide was very kind and gave us all the details so we were happy

The guide was really knowledgeable and I am convinced she's earned her fees. But unfortunately for clarity, it was not a skip-the-line ticket. There's no ticket needed or fee to enter the cathedral. You just line up early before they open. Had I known there's no entrance and booking needed, I would've just gone by myself and did my own search. I didn't think spending on the experience was necessary.

Guide was amazing. Lovely soft spoken voice, could understand everything she said ..and more importantly could remember everything she said

Guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Tour ended up being an hour and a half. Not upset since we got good value for our money but it did not make much sense that a 30 minute express tour was advertised for 9:30am when they don't even let people into the cathedral until 10:15.

Booked for 11.30 suddenly changed to 12.30 - very inconvenient but we'd paid so stuck! Excellent your guide but like most we assumed ticket included fast entry. Didn't expect long queue to get in!!!

Buying tickets was easy. We went with a small group. While we were waiting in line, the guide gave us an enjoyable, great presentation not only about the Duomo but also about the interesting facts about it. Anna

The guide was excellent, as an architect, she was able to explain Brunelleschi's design and execution of the dome wonderfully.

This is not a skip the line ticket - you are just lining up early with the rest of the crowd. This was my main issue with this tour - they are deceiving the buyer which really soured the experience for me. You are paying for the guided part and that part was so-so. It was 12 euros each and we bought two tickets so it wasn't a huge loss. Overall I would not repeat the tour, I would watch or read about the site myself and just line up on my own.

Your took 45 mins to enter into the Cathedral and we had to join the general public line. Tour guide provided good jnformation. The full tour took more than an hour. For this reason I suggest the word ' Express' from the tour title and description.

Alexis was an excellent tour guide. She is very knowledgeable and shared so much information with us. We really enjoyed the history she covered.

I was taking this tour with my kids and unfortunately was running late to the bus meet up spot, I called and was able to beg and plead with the guide to wait for us for 8 minutes past the time of departure. I was very apologetic, and basically in tears when we entered the bus. I was expecting that the guide was upset but honestly never would have expected to be put on blast over the loud speaker... the guide heavily put emphasis on being on time to respect everyone, that she went on aggressively for several minutes about how important timeliness is. I'm aware that my being late caused a disruption but the way it was delt with was unprofessional, rude, and honestly just confusing. Some people are here for a first time, we don't know everything about the area or have control over cabs canceling and not showing up. Being strict is one thing but being rude and hurtful for the sake of it is just nasty.

We just wanted to walk around Pisa and got to do that

You had better contact Akash Asija (Headout) before we take further actions with our terrible terrible Headout tour experience. My wife and I are looking for compensation for an entire day lost in Florence (last day) due to poor poor execution of the "Florence to Pisa" tour on Sept 5, 2024. Sincerely Very Upset Costomer

Giordano was a super friendly and motivated guide, who told us a lot about Pisa and Tuscany, and other places worth mentioning there, and also gave us special tips. The whole thing in fluent English, Spanish and also a little German :) Thanks also to bus driver Giovanni!

It was a very easy process to find our guide and get on the bus. They were very communicative and provided easy instructions. The bus to Pisa was nice and spacious and good AC. Our tour guide Ricardo once we arrived to Pisa was very knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor. As expected, Pisa was a magical experience that my family will take forever. Great experience with Headout .

I love the whole experience and doing the tour with otehr people. It was amazing to finally see Michealangelo's Obra Maestra, DAVID. The tour guide is very knowledgeable and has sense of humor which I think is a very important skill to embody so the participants will have fun at the same time.

We booked the Accademia Gallery Skip-the-Line Guided Tour through Headout and had a great experience. Skipping the extremely long line was worth it alone, but the tour itself exceeded expectations. Our group was small, which made it easy to follow and ask questions. The guide was incredibly informative—we learned so much about the history and artistry of the museum, especially the iconic statue of David, which was absolutely breathtaking in person. The tour lasted about an hour and covered all the key highlights of the Accademia Gallery, with just the right balance of depth and pace. Highly recommend this tour if you want a richer, more meaningful visit without the stress of waiting in line.

Claudio was very informative and we loved how he explained Michelangelo's early and older works. Very interesting! And to see the statue of David in person is magical.

Olga was a GREAT guide - she explained everything very clearly with visuals too. My experience seeing the David as well as the unfinished works of Michelangelo was very much enhanced. Perfect length tour (about an hour) with just the right amount of detail.

The guide was knowledge and it was very interesting! My kids (13, 11, 7) and I all had a great time and learned a lot! Hardly any wait in line to get in, and didn't feel rushed in the exhibit at all. Spent a lot of time at the David and from multiple angles. Loved it! It was my first experience with a guided tour and I so glad we did it! BUT I am disappointed with the back end of things - when booking the tour it said to meet far away from the accademia and instead to meet near the uffitzi - thst didn't make sense to me, so I chatted online with someone and they confirmed the location and that we'd walk with our guide over. The day before the tour I got an email confirming that same location. When we arrived I was told we were at the wrong location and needed to hurry over to the meeting spot by the accademia. We then needed to RUN through the city to get there on time so we wouldn't miss the tour. We arrived sweaty and frazzled. The tour guide was fantastic, but the communication leading up to the tour was not good.

Our tour guide was awesome! The tour focused on the statues of Michealangelo, and that's what was interesting to me. The museum also has rooms of busts, paintings, and musical instruments!

Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable! We learned so much about Michelangelo and his work. I saw so many people wandering around with no guide, no headphones... I can't imagine just looking at the David with no context. We had such a rich experience because of our guide. Highly recommend!

Absolutely incredible to see the work here! I love seeing the process of these artists as much as the final, iconic masterpieces.

We loved the three beautiful cities we visited, including the crown of Tuscany which wasn't on the itinerary. Paying to walk on the city walls was interesting and views were good, but we were on metal bridges, not the actual walls. There are two different access points so be sure to try both. Lunch was at a restaurant with a very small vineyard where we could walk and take photos. The tastings were all good but primarily a sales pitch. The pasta lunch was just ok. If you take the cathedral tour in Siena (recommended but additional cost) make sure you know how to get back to the meeting point!

A lot of history in each of the towns, beautiful scenery, and comfortable rides.

Everything was neat, the guide explained excellent everything we saw on the tour, the times in the places were perfect and the wine tasting and food was perfect, we would do the tour again.

The visit to Siena, San Gimignano & the Chianti lunch & wine tasting were all very good. The tour leader was excellent.

Very informative and enjoyable. I forgot our tour guide's name. I believe that she was Danish. She had such a pleasant disposition and was ready to provide extra, interesting facts when there were delays. My wife's receiver/headset kept cutting out. Our tour guide seamlessly addressed the issue by providing a backup receiver and headset -- with out interrupting the tour. She was amazing. I highly recommend this tour.

I very much enjoyed the guided tour through Florence and the Accademia Galery. It was everything I could have hoped for. Our guide, Enette, joyfully told us loads of interesting and new things about the places we were walking by, and the David was, of course, breathtaking. Seeing it through more experienced eyes, with the help of Enette, made the experience even more special. Thank you!

Our tour guide was lovely, and it was an incredibly hot day....but I knew it would be when I signed up for the tour. I believe that what you focus on expands...so if we keep talking about how hot it is, we'll be that much aware of how hot it is!

Stadtführung wurde mit vielen Stories zum Leben im Mittelalter und der Renaissance bereichert. Unsere Guide erklärte uns die Statuen, erzählte vieles zur Architektur und zu den damaligen Persönlichkeiten. Der Zugang zur Accademia erfolgte ohne lange Wartezeiten.

Our guide Annette was awesome. She was very throuogh and extremely knowledgeable, and well organized. There was a lot of history we learned that we never knew.
