Best Florence Culinary Tours

Hassle free experience with Headout, Ciao Florence tour to Chianti wineries was great and definitely value for money. Clean airconditioned bus, English speaking guide and no pressure wine tasting!

We had an amazing time! Our host (Amari?) did a great job explaining some of the history of the city as we travelled through Florence and into Tuscany. The driver did a great job getting us there safely and in great time. The vineyards were both top notch with friendly staff, beautiful vineyards and delicious wines. Would definitely book another excursion and even this same one again! Thank you.

This was an impromptu excursion for us on an unexpected free day during our vacation and it was wonderful. Our hotel was near the meeting point at the train station and the check in process was very easy. Our tour guide Dora was knowledge and friendly. We visited two wineries and had a great time tasting the wines and snacks provided. At the second stop our host Costanza was an amazing storyteller and very entertainment. It was about 45 minutes from Florence and overall the tour lasted about 5 hours. It was great value for the price and we were so glad we signed up.

The tour guide and bus driver were so patient and nice as they waited for us to get on the bus since we were late due to transportation issues.

Despite choosing the Spanish tour, the group was mixed in English, Spanish and Italian. However, the guide who accompanied the group gave explanations in all three languages. Only in the 2 wineries we visited was the language only in English or Italian. The 2 visits to the wineries were good, with a small tasting of bread with olive oil and 3 wines in each (starter wines).

Nice experience and very varied

We absolutely loved the locations! It was easy to get our tickets, they had a good mix of free time, wine tasting and lunch and the option of a walking and cathedral tour in Siena. The tour guide did a really good job of managing a large group but it was a mission to get such a large group all back at the same time which was frustrating. Nice tour but if you don't like large groups, rather visit the locations on your own.

I learnt how to make pasta the Italian way, the chef was very funny and entertaining, the food was delicious.

Had an amazing time being taught by chef Tommaso, excited to try out our new pasta skills when we get home. The fresh made gelato was delicious. Highly recommend.

The experience was great! All in all we enjoyed it especially with the chef assigned to us. He is very well versed in what he does. It was the best carbonara out of all I tasted in Italy to be honest! Kudos

THEY DID NOT LET THE TWO GIRLS IN, DESPITE THE FACT THAT THEY HAD FOUND AN ADULT LADY AT THE SITE WHO WAS WILLING TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEM FOR THE ACTIVITY AND TO SIGN AS MANAGER FOR THE MINORS. THEY TREATED THEM BADLY. AND THEY DID NOT REIMBURSE US FOR THE LACK OF ACTIVITY. WHAT THEY DID IS ILLEGAL, AND WE PLAN TO REPORT IT TO THE POLICE! I QUICKLY EXPECT A REFUND FROM HEADOUT AND THAT THE CASE IS TREATED WITH DUE SERIOUSNESS. THE GIRLS WERE SO DISAPPOINTED.

Great tour and the tour guide was wonderful. He did a wonderful job of explaining the wine business and was very patience with us. He assisted the guests with purchasing tickets for the trampoline and check through the bus to see if any things was left back.

The experience at the restaurant was really bad.

Supervisors Martha and Julio provided perfect guidance. Clear in information and always approachable. TOP With a wine company, we expected a winery in the countryside. This was a factory site. So ambience was a bit less, despite the enthusiastic employee of the winery. Nice and enthusiastic. Despite the severe thunderstorm in Siena we had a nice day.

We loved the three beautiful cities we visited, including the crown of Tuscany which wasn't on the itinerary. Paying to walk on the city walls was interesting and views were good, but we were on metal bridges, not the actual walls. There are two different access points so be sure to try both. Lunch was at a restaurant with a very small vineyard where we could walk and take photos. The tastings were all good but primarily a sales pitch. The pasta lunch was just ok. If you take the cathedral tour in Siena (recommended but additional cost) make sure you know how to get back to the meeting point!

Everything was neat, the guide explained excellent everything we saw on the tour, the times in the places were perfect and the wine tasting and food was perfect, we would do the tour again.

A lot of history in each of the towns, beautiful scenery, and comfortable rides.

It seemed like a mass production. Headout should mention the capacity of the tour. We were on a double decker bus with over 40-50 people. We were made to walk over 45 minutes to get to and fro from the bus where it was parked. No issues with walking but would be good to know (especially with the heat). Visit to very basic vineyard too.

The flavors, aromas, and the shared camaraderie made the dining experience truly special and unforgettable. Overall, our Florence market tour and cooking class surpassed all expectations. It was a perfect blend of cultural exploration, culinary education, and immersive enjoyment. I would highly recommend your tour to anyone seeking an authentic and memorable culinary experience in Florence.

It was really fun. Only two families attended the class, which was held in a small setting. The chef was quite pleasant to work with and made the experience memorable. We made homemade pizza and watched the chef make gelato with a few students' help.

Great experience. Absolutely worth it!

Very disappointed in the tour. Our guide greeted us by saying that English was not her best language but she was sure everything would be okay. The bus driver drove aggressively to the wineries, impatient with the traffic, sounding his horn and flashing at all on the road. Wineries were nice but no olive oil tasting as advertised and very little food. Not value for money. Most importantly though our guide left two of the party behind at the first winery as the bus driver refused to wait for them. Confusion around the time we had to be back on the bus because our guide did not translate properly meant we left two people behind. Driver and guide argued all the way to the second winery. Finished the second tour. No bus to greet us. Had to go back for the two people he had left behind. We're arrived back in Florence which was dark and cold 1:5 hours late. 6:5 hours away with no food. Left in the bus depot cold, tired and hungry. Not a good experience at all. Tuscany countryside is magnificent which is why I've given 2 stars.

The wine tasting was very short

Bus driver got lost and we had our wine tour cut short because of that.

Nice group, 10 US-Americans and us two Germans. Simple but very good dishes. Nice instructor, great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

At first did not receive confirmation via email but when I asked, I received and all worked for the cooking class. The ease with which the chefs gave instruction and the comrade rie and acceptance of participants.

The class started later than expected so we were there for 4+ hours. Everyone in the class was great, including the teachers. The chance to learn how to make pasta from scratch in Florence was really nice. We learned some really nice tricks in the kitchen and hope to implement them at home.
