It's a great time of year to visit - the crowds were smaller than when we were here in August! It takes my breath away to see the Greats in person! We'll be back again!
Many authors in the Uffizi Gallery make a strong impression, but this certainly would not surprise anyone. Personally, I was most impressed by Caravaggio's Medusa. The view from the cafe over Florence is spectacular.
It was really a fantastic day, among the most beautiful works in the world by the most talented and representative artists in history, a dream of mine that I finally realized 😊

Mary our amazing guide made our visit to the Uffizi so much more interesting. A lovely friendly knowledgeable lady. Explaining aspects of the art just would just have been lost on us made our visit so so enjoyable.
The crowds made the museum visit memorable for all the wrong reasons. Even though we booked for the first session of the day, it was unbelievably crowded and unpleasant.
The audio qality for a person with 'hearing aids' meant I heard nothing! Headout email said 2;30 the ticket was 2:0 i was therefore late.
The tour was meh. Less of a tour and more of a lecture. And why do i have to pick an option? Why cant i just leave a comment? So you can ignore my choices above, because i had to pick something to leave a comment.
Even though we had bought tickets in advance (and paid a 4 euro surcharge for this) and had gone early in the morning, there were MANY people. Too many people to see everything properly. This was very unfortunate.

The audioguides were of excellent quality, very interesting and perfectly made. The host waiting for us could have been a bit more polite, she could have greeted us for instance when we met. She did not tell where to go until we asked it. However, a very good experiene alltogether.
Picking up the ticket with the voucher was a bit complicated because I forwarded a ticket and the lady at the counter couldn't identify/scan it. The Uffizi itself is simply beautiful :-) Great paintings / exhibition that Florence can be proud of.

We had trouble finding the ticket office. House number 18 was not correct. Fortunately it worked out and we were handed the tickets immediately. Top!

I bought tickets for the Uffizen in Florence with headout, nice staff were there at the agreed meeting point and we got tickets as agreed. It was worth the financial surcharge as the tickets were reserved and I didn't have to collect them from the ticket counter myself. Everyone has to do the security check-in queue at the end anyway. But it was a bit quicker and more pleasant this way. So everything went well. Greetings

We could have stayed for three days, so much to look at and enjoy. Getting speedy entry with Headout made everything easier, Anna
It was easy to pick up the tickets. The instructions were clear on the location where to get the tickets. There was no lineup waiting. And the museum had beautiful artwork.
Ticketing with Headout was easy and the reminders and info are great. Our guide was a wealth of information and we learned a lot! Our 1:30pm tour left the office at 1:30 pm, but I wish we were at the Uffizi at 1:30 pm.
The ticket collection was all we paid for and it went OK, although we did have some bouncing around as we'd been given two tickets with different entry times . But the organiser sorted it and the self guided tour went well after that.
The museum is spectacular and hiring Headout was very simple through the web and very easy to redeem the tickets. First experience highly recommended. Thank you

Ticketing worked well - which line to get in to redeem tickets was a bit confusing but am assuming the volume of people going in added to the chaos
UFFIZZI - The details provided for identifying the ticket guide was confusing as the flag flown was not as expected/promoted. The tour was very well given and informative. ACADEMIA - The meeting point details are incorrect - given was 109r, actual is 109a, (a tour operator). This knowledge would be useful. Too many people in the area, with picture sellers intruding on the space causing complications. No flag, no identifier to establish who to speak with. The tour was good, and again informative.
Once our guide had accepted that we had paid for being taken to the skip the line queue it was good. Well worth the money spent so we didn't have to wait a long time in the queue. Our guide moved a group of about 10 people through the masses of poeple outside the Duomo and environs very efficiently. The museum itself was wonderful. Great to be able to take the time we wanted .
Amazing museum, with paintings hundreds of years old beautifully restored and presented, still displaying amazingly vibrant colours, with informative comments in English as well as Italian. Complemented with an excellent open-air cafe which was very handy as it took us all day to fully explore all the galleries. Decor of the building itself was also spectacular, with many frescoed and gilded ceilings.
Enjoy immediate access to the Uffizi Gallery on this guided tour with skip-the-line tickets.

Tour started on time, the tour guide was very knowledgeable and personable . This is a must see destination in Florence... I will use them again five star rating⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The tour at the Academia with Mary was amazing. She was so well spoken and I was able to understand everything and really enjoyed her energy when explaining all the details.
Our guide was really entertaining , kind, and informative. She's 5 stars! It could have been infuriating to have to wait 30 minutes in the "skip the line" line-but she made it as interesting as possible. And once we were inside, she was an informed and entertaining guide.
Our tour guide was fabulous. Seeing this museum was the thrill of a lifetime and she navigated us through it so beautifully giving us so much information and showing us all of the highlights. She was so personable. It was like going with a dear friend. I can't believe my luck in findingsuch a wonderful tour guide.
The guided tour of both the Uffizi Gallery and the Accademia was done with Sara. It was a real pleasure to share this experience with her. She is passionate about art and knows how to transmit her extensive knowledge. 100% recommendable.

The organisation, timings and efficiency are always a concern. Sylvia and the tour (with flag) were clearly available, professional and the radio mics were perfect,
The visit was very well organized , with the guide entertaining us from the very beginning from the meeting point in Via Martelli talking about the history of Florence to introduce the Medici family and then the Uffizi . The guide led us not only through the countless works of art making historical-artistic connections between the various authors and characters of the time , but also through the architectural beauty of the building . I highly recommend her to those who for the first time want to visit this museum .

When I got to our meeting point there were no guide with a "headout" sign like it said there would be in my booking. There was a guide there who seemed to be working to get all people that were attending to the venue, but it was a guide from another company. Since no one from Headout had showed up, I asked her, and it was her that was arranging it after all and told me Headout was just the web page. I thougt this was a very confusing way to start, especially when they had such trouble gathering the attendants. Then, it seemed I was the only one that showed up, and even though I had booked a guided tour, the guide now suggested I just go in by myself. This was not what I booked, so she was convinced to go in with me. She seemed very knowledgable, but I must say I had truble hearing her inside Uffizi. But cudos to her either way being able to guide inside such a crowded place.
The guide was very good, knowledgeable, inspiring and enthusiastic. The number of artwork's presented was sufficient. The sound in the loudspeakers were not optimal so some of the message was hard to get (with better sound the total experience would have been superb). We were only 7 in the group so it was easy tonrise questions
A wonderful and knowledgeable guide who was very attentive to our entire group, which ranged from teenagers to elderly! Thank you for an unforgettable day!
Everything organized to perfection and our guide Ilaria very good guided us with competence and efficiency to make the best guided tour of the Uffizi in the time provided, both my husband and I highly recommend her, Adele Neri

Annette was amazing. Her knowledge of Michaelangelos and his work was truly wonderful. Her presentation of the facts were nicely put together. She was easy to understand and used the microphone so I had no problem hearing her in the busy noisy setting.
The guides were knowledgeable and fun. Ticketing was easy with directions to the meeting spot. Everything came off very and professional.
Our guide was wonderful and I am so glad we did the tour. We learned so much more versus walking around on our own. It was worth every penny.
Stefania (our tour guide) was magnificent!! Expansive explanations, very good situation management, good interaction with everyone in the group. Her knowledge made it possible for us to understand and appeciate the art we were seeing.
The guided visit to the Uficci, with Ivan, was wonderful. A Florentine guide, an expert in art, entertaining, friendly and very rigorous. We loved the experience

The guide was excellent with great information. Entry was easy and quick. The woman contact was not pleasant or helpful. She stated she had called my number twice, I had no missed calls, a issue with internataional connection? She was unpleasant. Guide excellent, meet up woman, meh
Our tour guide, Tina was fantastic! She's French but lives in Italy and had done extensive research on the area, the art, the subjects of the statues, etc. she elevated our Accedemia experience and we appreciate her efforts.
Small group, efficient and knowledgeable guide. I loved learning and getting a deeper perspective on sculptures of Michael Angelo..
The guide was knowledge and it was very interesting! My kids (13, 11, 7) and I all had a great time and learned a lot! Hardly any wait in line to get in, and didn't feel rushed in the exhibit at all. Spent a lot of time at the David and from multiple angles. Loved it! It was my first experience with a guided tour and I so glad we did it! BUT I am disappointed with the back end of things - when booking the tour it said to meet far away from the accademia and instead to meet near the uffitzi - thst didn't make sense to me, so I chatted online with someone and they confirmed the location and that we'd walk with our guide over. The day before the tour I got an email confirming that same location. When we arrived I was told we were at the wrong location and needed to hurry over to the meeting spot by the accademia. We then needed to RUN through the city to get there on time so we wouldn't miss the tour. We arrived sweaty and frazzled. The tour guide was fantastic, but the communication leading up to the tour was not good.
An outstanding tour and tour guide. The entire expereince was wonderful and just the right amount of time from start to finish! Thank You!! I would book a tour with them again without any reservations.
Our guide was fantastic. The context and color she added to our tour was incredibly helpful for our entire Italy trip. It layed a great informational foundation and understanding of some of the Renaissance greats.
Lori our guide made our tour really interesting, we loved her energy and passion towards the tour.
Absolutely loved our tour guide Francesca and of course seeing the majestic David in all his glory!
Our guide was fabulous! She had so much knowledge about Michelangelo. She shared background and stories in an interesting way. The skip - the - line ticket was so worth it. We were so glad we went with Florence specialists.
We booked the Accademia Gallery Skip-the-Line Guided Tour through Headout and had a great experience. Skipping the extremely long line was worth it alone, but the tour itself exceeded expectations. Our group was small, which made it easy to follow and ask questions. The guide was incredibly informative—we learned so much about the history and artistry of the museum, especially the iconic statue of David, which was absolutely breathtaking in person. The tour lasted about an hour and covered all the key highlights of the Accademia Gallery, with just the right balance of depth and pace. Highly recommend this tour if you want a richer, more meaningful visit without the stress of waiting in line.
The audio qality for a person with 'hearing aids' meant I heard nothing! Headout email said 2;30 the ticket was 2:0 i was therefore late.

Our tour guide, Sarah, was lovely and knowledgeable! Our tour was wonderful! We learned so much about the statue of David that we would t have known if we toured on our own
Claudio was very informative and we loved how he explained Michelangelo's early and older works. Very interesting! And to see the statue of David in person is magical.
Our guide, I believe her name was Gaya, and she was fantastic. She was informative, engaging and efficient. The tour started promptly, and we moved with ease throughout the tour.
David was breathtaking and our guide was brilliant, making the experience come alive with stories and extra information as we queued. Amazing.
Our tour guide (Stefano) at the Accademia was not only knowledgeable but put all of us at ease and was very open to discussing our tourist questions. A very enjoyable experience.
The guide, Renata, was helpful, informative, and pleasant. We needed a wheelchair for one guest and she helped make it happen easily. Her storytelling made the visit magical.
The guide was great, but the ticket was advertised as skip the line w/guide. The skip the line part was not skip the line at all. We went straight to the end of the line and waited (with the guide). But our guide was a good one, that part was good. Had it been also skip the line as advertised, then I'd have rated it higher.
Ticketing with Headout was easy and the reminders and info are great. Our guide was a wealth of information and we learned a lot! Our 1:30pm tour left the office at 1:30 pm, but I wish we were at the Uffizi at 1:30 pm.
We had to wait in line quite a while which I understood be no one's fault. However, I was expecting a half hour tour and instead got 30 minutes. I could have learned more from the audio guide. I'm guessing our guide had to get back for the next tour but it wasn't worth the money.

We were late because of our driver from the ports we actually missed the tour. Even though we were late a full half hour the person working with the tour was watching for us and gave us pass the line entry. He saved the day.

The museum visit was great. However, we had thought that the QR code was the actual ticket. So we had to go somewhere else from the entrance to the Uffizi to pick up the paper ticket. I actually wanted to avoid this, so I bought the tickets online beforehand. The office was difficult to find despite Google Maps. The Boboli Gardens are very run-down, overgrown and unkempt and not at all worth the entrance fee. A complete disappointment.

Loved being able to walk into the museum w/o a long wait. It was great to see David in person, and I really enjoyed the exhibit of the Musical Instruments.
My absolute favorite stop of my trip. Even though I have been before David still brings me to tears. Aside from David the museum has so many incredible pieces that are truly an honor in person. A trip to Florence is not complete without visiting la Galleria dell'Accademia.
Many authors in the Uffizi Gallery make a strong impression, but this certainly would not surprise anyone. Personally, I was most impressed by Caravaggio's Medusa. The view from the cafe over Florence is spectacular.
Our tickets were for timed entry skipping all lines, and it worked perfectly. We were escorted from an office two blocks away to the rapid entry line, and it worked flawlessly. We did not use a guide within this museum, as it is a somewhat smaller museum and very easy to negotiate. Saving the time was worth everything!
Michelangelo's masterpiece is breathtaking Very friendly and professional staff The organization of the museum is excellent
The exhibit was amazing! Sculptures were currated nicely. Very informative
Very enjoyable visit. Great to visit David. Thanks for the quick access.
What a great exhibit we saw. Absolutely stunning

Mary our amazing guide made our visit to the Uffizi so much more interesting. A lovely friendly knowledgeable lady. Explaining aspects of the art just would just have been lost on us made our visit so so enjoyable.
The ease of purchasing the tickets, however, a few more instructions should be provided that you need to have a ticket from a person, I thought you would just use the electronic ticket and not knowing a specific spot .
We enjoyed the Skip the Queue experience, and were happier to self-guide so this suited us well. The statue of David was amazing - I had no idea it was so big!
We had trouble finding the place to pickup our tickets we paid for a 2:30pm time and received a 2:00pm time made it difficult to get in line on time The museum was beautiful and very glad we weathered thru the hard d stuff. Thank you
It was quick and easy to find the meeting point, get the tickets and. .We were only required to be there 15 mins earlier for a 4:45 and we got in an with in 15 mins and on time no long wait times. Only confusion was I thought I was buying a guided tour since ticket said ticket when Host, but there was no Host??
Was met at the specific location on time and was given clear instructions and shown to the entry. The Accademia was awesome. Greater than expected.

The skip the line was totally worth it! We were traveling with a senior, and not having to wait in line for a long time was very helpful/less tireing. We really enjoyed out experience.
Fantastic place with loads of great art. Extremely crowded but that was not surprising really. Was easy using headout. Guy with tickets was easy to find and it did mean we could head straight in with just a brief security check. Michaelangelo's David is fantastic and so glad I've seen the real thing.
Museum was amazing. Really dont like nit being able to buy tickets direct from museum. Trued over and over but it became obvious that third party compaies buy them out electronically so never avaiable on museum website. Tried numerous times months in advance. Didnt like paying double face value for admission. Especially since guy in line with us paid much less only a few days in advance through cruise line. Museum should isallow all electronic purchase of tickets. Resale of same should be outlawed and enforced
The ticket collection was all we paid for and it went OK, although we did have some bouncing around as we'd been given two tickets with different entry times . But the organiser sorted it and the self guided tour went well after that.

I stayed outside Florence. With the car we drove to an area outside the ztl and with some patience 15 min from the center we parked. The Headout visit service with host at the Accademia Gallery was great, given the influx of tourists on the May 1 bridge, I highly recommend it to skip the line without stress.

The guide was excellent and pationate about the visit. Very nice person and knowledgeable.excellent story teller. But the group was not a small group as I expected . We were 16 ! The waiting time at the uffizi was longer than foreseen the rooms packed. I was expecting a smaller group that would not rush . But in view of the chaos around the uffizi the entire experience was a miracle .
The guided tour was great but working out the ticket verification was very complicated. The confirmation email said the tickets were confirmed & we were ready to go. However the next line in the email said we had to go to the office, which was out if our way across town & when we got there the notice on the doir directed us to the ticket office in the piazza Della republica. Your messaging needs to be more exact about where people need to go - several people on our tour made the same comment!
Enjoyed the vast knowledge of the guide although we had to really concentrate hard to understand her at times because of her accent.
Our guide was imformative without beeing boring or too academic, keeping our interest for the full three hours.
Guide was knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. Museum was wasn't so crowded.

The last minute time change was a very rude experience. We had to give up another tour because of it.

The tour was well organised and it was great to avoid the huge lines. The guide Sara was amazing and bought all the key paintings to life. The Head out app had been great. My husband booked the Duomo on another platform and it was awful . Head out really have delivered. I will use this app for the rest of my Italian trip.
Our tour guide Hillary (Hilaria) was an amazing guide, not only for her being a local Florencian but we also were fortunate to be the only couple that booked the tour. Therefore, it felt like a private tour! Nonetheless, she had tenacity, passion for her the the artist portrayal, and the enriched history of not only art it self, but the beautiful city of Florence. We left the tour enchanterd and wanting more!:) Thank you Hilaria ❤️
It was a bit disorganised. It was difficult to find the meeting point (tiny office in a large square, no signage or flags) They wanted us to wait outside in the scorching 2.30pm sun, later agreed to let ua stand in the office. Then there was an issue with the group tickets at the Uffizzi - they got only 6 instead of 15. By the time it was all sorted, tour was 30 mins late. atanding/waiting in the heat. It is a long tour and everyone was already tired standing/waiting in the heat. Many people finally dropped off before the tour finished. Guide was knowledgeable, though seemed a bit inexperienced. Uffizi was supposed to one of the main highlights of our trip, unfortunately we were a bit disappointed with the whole experience.

The tour guide for uffizi was great - very knowledgeable and funny. However I thought I had booked a city walk also - this didn't happen. Not a big deal but the website wasn't very clear.
The tour was cancelled very last minute by the tour guide being sick, I was called and a voice message left on my phone which I appreciated and the confirmation of a full refund for the tour.
Omar was incredible; his knowledge of art and the way he took us on a journey through time periods and brought out the emotion, psychology, layering of color and dimension to the painting was phenomenal. We have booked two other tours through your company since this experience. Thank you!
LLadies that were guides were excellent, very interesting stories and very competent. Lunch in Calcio n Pepe was dissapointing, food was excellent, but they hardly wanted to serve us when we said that we paid the lunch to the agency and showed voucher. Also the guided tour in Uffizzi covered only the second floor. When we booked, it was not mentioned. We walked through the rest of gallery alone, with no guidance. All in all, I think that I overpayed the tour. Got no discount for children, as well. All in all, I think that I overpayed the tour.
It was nice been in a small group of only five people. I booked the lunch as well, expecting to meet other tourists, but I was the only person doing the lunch, so that was disappointing. Also, could you provide a vegetarian option for lunch.
So thankful for this group. Tour was fantastic, but the small acts of kindness shown to our family by the guides and organizers were special.
We toured Florence highlights and, later that, day, the UffiziGalleries. The morning tour was disjointed, and the guide practically ran us through the streets. She--Claudia--often got so far ahead that we worried we'd lose her. She was knowledgeable, but her information was not well organized. And she asked "guess what's in my mind" questions. No one likes those. The Uffizi tour was still physically challenging, but the guide was much better. Her knowledge was well organized, and she built the experience as a narrative, making a LOT of information easier to,remember. And unlike the morning guide, she encouraged and responded well to questions.
Claudia was amazing and so informative during the city tour. There was no information about where to get the Uffizi tour. We assumed that the Uffizi tour came next but we had to come back 1 1/2 later. We had already scheduled another tour. Christiana wa experienced and gave us great perspective on the gallery.
Renata our guide, made the tour very enjoyable and entertaining, with a lot of knowledge of history!!! Highly recommended
